03: Local Stroll Platform
What is Local Stroll?:
Local Stroll is a local mobility platform originally designed to help people experience cities in a slower, more creative way.
It began as an EV TukTuk rental and strolling concept in Tokyo, focusing on exploration rather than efficiency, and local context rather than destinations.
Current Status:
Local Stroll is currently paused as an active service.
However, the concept, operational know-how, brand assets, and platform design remain intact.
Rather than scaling prematurely, the project is intentionally kept dormant to allow for the right next form to emerge.
Future Possibilities:
Local Stroll is not limited to EV TukTuks.
The platform can be reimagined for:
- Bicycles and e-bikes
- Other forms of micro-mobility
- Different cities or regions
- Community-driven or franchise-style models
We believe Local Stroll works best when adapted by partners who understand their local streets, culture, and rhythm.
